right im from the uk i have a 1.3 16v non vtech hatch 92-95 without abs and have drum brakes in the back
i have been offered a civic vti (sir in us i think ) what parts do i need to do a complete swap and do i need parts from other hondas in order to do this ?
the car is the exact same car just diff lump
plus wat is a OBD everyone is going on about ?

The B16a2 came in the 99-00 Civic SI. It also came in some other Civics, as well. Its an obd2 motor, and your car is obd1. You'd need an obd1 conversion, as well as everything else typical of a B series swap into a Civic.

 

yeah if it is a b16 you need 99 si rear bracket, integra tranny bracket, del sol front tranny bracket, and a del sol ac bracket. obd 2-obd1 conversion harness

 

right i was confused earlier but now i am really confused surely i can put a diff engine in my car if cars are the same 92-95 hatches ? why does parts need to come off other cars ?

 

Because the mounts for your car are made to hold a D-Series motor, you need mounts for a B-Series motor.
