I got banned from ephatch for some reason. I'm not new on that board..I have 450+ posts. I've sold stuff to other EP members before... I don't get it. I can't post or even see any posts. The moderator Joe "JPAX" or whatever won't respond to my emails. I've asked why I was banned and no response. I recently dealt with Moonsi from that forum and he can vouch I'm no fraud or a punk. It's just very unprofessional that they ban me for no reason.

 

btw my user handle on ephatch.com is toeknee. I've been told by other members through email that I've been completely been erased from everything as if I never existed. wtf?

I am in the exact same position as you over there at EPhatch. Banned with no replies, no answers. Stick with H-T! EPhatch is

honda-tech is purely the site you need to stick with.

I don't think so because I sold most of the stuff in other forums. The last thing I put up there was a PLX Devices wideband that I was going to use but decided to sell. Next day i was banned.

For those who don't know. JPAX on ephatch.com thought i was a fraud because I had too expensive stereo stuff for sale all brand new. It was for my setup but needed money for my turbo so i was selling it. He went on about how i'm a bullshiter and or that I'm a shop. I proved him wrong by taking a picture of all the stuff with "ephatch proof" written on a piece of paper.

 

I can't create a new user account because my IP is banned unless I change my IP.

it just really sucks that they (especially JPAX) don't respond with a reason for the ban. I'm not the only one who thinks the same. I've got to say its one of the worst forums on the net yet I still need to use it to reach other EP owners. I'll rephrase. Probably the worst admins.

I bet I would have been banned soon as I post something like this on there. I did once and they erased it immediately after tons of people started agreeing and told me to contact throught PM and not post publicly about complaints...LOL

 

I remember they posted a thread on what changes they could make. Well they heard stuff they didn't want to hear so it was deleted. So much for taking care of their members...

That might have been my post on my first username ty423. I was on there with that username and expressed what was really wrong about the forum and it became a big topic with everyone putting in their thoughts. Well like you said they heard what they didn't want to hear so they completely deleted its existence. I think some tried to save the post because they knew it was going to be erased and the admins pretend as if it never happened. After that they told everyone if there is any complaints to PM them only and not post anything publicly. WTF?

Whatevers though everyone there are scared to say anything because they know they'll get banned.

I posted in that thread and I thought it was unusual that it would have been hidden after the deliberate solicitation of advice. A couple of weeks later, one of them made a sarcastic comment referring to something I had said in that thread.

I don't understand it, but I'm not them so I don't know for sure what's goin through their minds.

In their defence, they are actually trying to make money with the site, so they are protective of anything that has anything to do with profiting in connection with their site.

They definitely want you to be a paying member and a retailer known to them and helping them if you are looking like you're selling for profit, and at least a paying member if you're selling even merchandise as a private user.

Please do not turn this thread into a flame war against EPHatch.com. They have picked a direction that is a little different from Honda-Tech's direction, that's all, and they provide a niche sector support that most places can't provide.

 

We're not going to be able to turn our backs on this thread with confidence that some kind of flaming isn't going to start up, so I am going to go ahead and lock it now.

I am very sorry for anyone's troubles at EPHatch, but it's really their business, not ours.
