Well for the past couple days I have been having intermitent no starts with my 90' accord lx 5spd. Occasionaly I have to push start it and sometimes it will allow me to start it but it is never predictable. My battery is new and my alternator and starter tested out good also. My weird speedomter problem just happend though during an episode of the itermitent no start! I tried to turn the key no start but the tach went all the way to redline then went back down. So I turned the key back to the off position then on again, except this time instead of the tach going all the way up the speedometer went all the way around! I turned the key off and on again and the speedometer would go in reverse back to 60mph mark then it would fall back again to the furthest point possible past 140mph. I got fed up with the car took the keys out of the ignition and popped the hood to see anything visually. Nothing, no fuses blown, no wires missing, zip! Anyone know what is going on and how I can get the speedometer to spin back to the 0 mark whre it should be? Am I going to have to remove the dash and manually turn the speedometer needle back to where it should be? Thanks.
