Question about Hoods

I am looking for a hood for a 96 honda civic. I know 96-98 are the same and then 99-00. Will a 2000 hood fit on a 96.

No, you will need to use a 96-98 hood.

yea the body has slight differences even tho they look close

Exactly, if you wanted the 99-00 hood to work, you would need: Headlights, Fenders, bumper and a grill.
