Default thicker headgaskets

my stock d16 is taking a dump so i've got my hands on a SOHC ZC motor comming in friday and i'm starting to order parts to continue my boosted d project (my stock D16 lasted 2 years )

looking into headgaskets and i'm a little confused with what i'm reading...
golden eagle headgaskets say there headgaskets are 76-81mm think. thats 8cm is that correct? i'm trying to lower compression but i thought a 3mm over stock is plenty.

Also is there any advantages to putting arp studs on the oilpan? i'm doing the arp cylinder kit and was wondering if i go nuts with the studs.

thanks for the advice
