Any of you guys run without ARP headstuds,and have no problems?
A buddy of mine put some on and has had heagasket failure with em,hes tried stock and cometic gaskets,and he is a honda mechanic as well,so thats not the problem,im considering whether to use stock or the ARPs.

every time ive boosted a honda motor with stock headbolts (and stock torque), i lifted the head. however i had a few turbo beaters that i overtorqued about 10lb/ft and had no problems. But I am known for overboosting stock motors... I do it for fun.
now i always run aftermarket head bolts or studs, unless its a beater and dont expect the motor to last. I have the golden eagle studs in my built GSR.
I know that alot of people get away with using the stock bolts, even with a lot of power, but I still recommend getting studs.

isnt 65 stock torque spec?

i was talking D series. 63 for the B series. i shouldve said that i overtorqued about 10ft/lb on the budget setups.

run the arp's, we use them in all our builds, and i use off the shelf arp headstuds in my 613whp gsr.
they are cheap enough to get why go stock. especially if its a d series they always have head lift issues.

I reused my stock headbolts 3 times on my first D motor and twice on my second boosted motor and never had any headlifting problems. If people could tune their cars they wouldnt have these problems

I think you have other issues...was the head and block checked for flatness. If one or the other is not flat then you could blow head gaskets. 10-12 psi is nothing...even with stock head bolts.
You should also check your tune....Also your friend being a Honda mechanic means nothing...obviously he doesn't know how to diagnose your problem.

Most honda "techs" from Honda are parts changers and have no idea what diagnosing is because they arent paid to do so.
Atleast around here. I know of two Honda techs and they are brilliant, the rest have no idea what they are talking about.
