i have a 95 gsr sedan and my engine blew . i think my engine blew because i had an ls computer on it.............now i know to check before buying a car.i never knew this until someone told me to check and it was. so all that time i would never hit v-tec. and finally my engine blew IM LOOKING FOR AN ENGINE TO BY PLEASE HELP

 

Whoa man pretty vague.. You sure that it's toast? What makes you think that you have an ls computer? Your vtec solenoid could have been plugged or not functioning properly. The car doesn't run at all? More details please because you may not need a new engine.

 

Explain what is wrong with the engine.. not saying it isn't possible but I doubt your computer caused your engine to "blow".

 

My point exactly. Dude how are you going to post a question like that then jump offline? Anyways, can't see how an ecu could make any mechanical aspect of a car fail. Give us a little more feeback. Have you done a compression test?

 

My guess: low oil led to vtec lockout. Owner ran until oil level was too low for engine to not break.

 

Good assumption.. Let's make a poll to see what might of happened to his car. Then, when he comes back we can see how close we were.
