I am about to do a b18c swap into my 96 EX coupe and I live in cali so I need to get the car smoged first so I dont have to worrie about passing with the new motor for awhile. Problem is that my o2 sensor in the d-series motor isnt working properly. Its not throwing any codes but the o2 monitor will not set. Basically I want to know if the o2 from my b series motor will work in the d-series???

o2's are not motor specific. If they are both 4 wire (they should both be) then it'll work.

 

it will work as long as its the same plug 4 wire
