you can replace the bushings if you want to buy individual bushings and waste your time installing them...or buy a whole new LCA from honda for about 60 bucks...

are you talking about the trailing arm bushing? the 3" diameter bushing? or the lower control arm that the shock mounts to?

Yeah the big one, 3" or so. I just called the dealership and they said $300 a side for the whole arm and they said you cant buy bushing, only the arm!! The reason im still posting is because I don't trust dealerships, they're always looking to make lil $$$

I wonder what the odds are of finding one in decent shape from the scrap yard?

OH, I just started taking the arm out a little while ago and i already broke 2 bolts and the rest are seized so im in the middle of cutting out my floor,the double layer where the threaded peices are. Guess im torching THERE SHOULD SOME DAMN ACCESS HOLES FOR THOSE DAMMIT This is the main thing I hate about these import cars

you can get the trailing arm bushing individually, but most dealers dont know that and its probably not in their database. it was a change made later on, along with a Technical service bulletin.

go here for some write up about installing these properly. its for integra trailing arms which have larger diameter bushings, but theres still the right info for civics.

I hate to be picky on the wording that Tyson used, but;

The "integra" bushings are not "wider", they are larger in diameter.

I just don't want anybody to get confused.

This is what you need!, They worked great in my car. Here's a link on how to install them at home:

Good luck.
