Default Building quiet turbo Exuast, need help.

Heyas guys,
I'm building a junkyard turbo kit for a CRX SI D16A6. I'm also going for the complete sleeper look and sound. Also, I'm not planning on spending more than $100 on this set up.

I just ordered 10ft of SS 2.5 piping. I want it to be as quiet as my stock exaust if its possible.

I heard about someone using a truck muffler that looked stock and kept sound way down. Anyone know anything bout that?

Thanks
~Adam

Generally the turbo itself helps disipate sounds levels by itself, but for performance it also requires a free flowing low backpressure exhaust. I built my 3" turbo exhaust using a Dynomax muffler, but it hasn't been tested yet. I put the muffler inline just past the shifter. If your looking cheap, you could then just turn down the output and have the exhuast exit under the car. That would save you having to run it over the axle.

Here is a link to a 2.5" muffler for you..
