how low can i drop my civic and still put the stock tires on i was thinking 1.8 can i still get the stock tire s on with this drop?

 

you can get skunk2's or GC and slam them all the way with stock rims and tires with minimal rub.

 

1.8?? what's your idea of stock...18s!
on stock width tires (175/185) you don't rub until it's down about 3.5 to 4in.
you won't rub on just coilovers turned all the way down...

 

sure you can go 3+ inches down but unless you drive like a grandma you're goning to be on the bumpstops all day... and nothing ruins a nice corner like coming down hard on the bumpstops and the car sliding out from under ya... Alot of it depends on what youre gonna run for hardware but about 1.5-2" down with bumpstops cut in half is a good bet for drivability on an EF...

 

i`m not sure what i`m going to drop with i don`t do any racing but would like the idea of puting the car back to stock hight with winters for the snow so i`m thinking coilovers but not sure..

 

i got the neuspeed sport springs, they dropped the car 2" and i have no problems with the tires or scraping on speed bumps.

 

just get som air bags if want it very low. hahahahhahaha but if i perfer coilovers, if want want ride quality just go with lowering springs and make sure you get some shocks to go with it.
