Im looking for a GREAT hondata tuner within a 5 hour drive of michigan. I have a built motor turbo GSR that I just rebuilt that i need tuned before i wanna drive it around.

Im not intrested in goign to payn tech, even though they are 20 min from my house. Im looking for a REALIABLE shop with a excellent track record. I was thinking about going to the "whip factory" in Chicago, but ive also heard great things about evans-tuning in Pennsylvania.

any help would be appreacited, but please not "i hate" stories because of something you might of heard through the grape vine.

i'm about 90% sure Payn is closed now. You could goto Godspeed in Novi, Dan seems to do a good job on Turbo Hondas

The business is closed, however Tom still tunes on evenings and weekends by appointment.

I've heard nothing but good things about Payn, and they have a Mustang dyno.

He does very well with the turbo hondas. Autowerks Motorsport is the only Authorized Hondata dealer in the state, and has had awesome results with Hondata.

Payn still tunes at night by appointment only, when he's available at his discretion.

 

andy at autowerks tunes hondata using the dyna packs at godspeed. Both shops worked on my car and they both did great work. give them a call.

yes we have uberdata capabilities. I have not seen anyone get tuned with crome through our shop though. As for the soon part...you and me both man

 

Ive been to both payn and godspeed in the past. Ive heard alot of bad things about autowerks tuning cars, so id never go there and thats who tuns hondata for godspeed. Payn tech, i had plenty of experances with, tom kinda even owes me a favor, but i wish not to go there and deal with them anymore for personal reasons.

I'm so sorry you heard so wrong about Autowerks. GL with whatever you decide.

 

i personaly have never had a problem with andy or dan tuning my car.

i wouldnt bother with payne, he will only tune people he knows right now
