if there is slight ticking after valve adjustment......do u suggestion i recheck valve clearance?

 

Yes, sounds like maybe you might have not adjusted one correct.

so would i need to tightn of loose to remove ticking?

 

Tighten to get rid of it....unless its a worn LMA.

 

One of them is probably too loose. Go back and check them all again (engine cold of course).

First time I did a valve adjustment, same thing happened to me, only it was so bad my car sounded like a diesel engine. Checked all the clearances again and found one exhaust valve to have about .030" clearance. Tightened that down to spec and all was good.
