i have an auto, non vtec, d15b7 94 civic hacth dx. intake and 4-1 header

im supposed to run a 240sx, almost stock, maybe a few bolt ons (auto, '96)

so my power to weight ratio is 2178lbs/108hp = 20.17lbs/hp

and his would be 2753lbs/155hp = 17.76lbs/hp

so on paper, we both suck, lol but seriously on paper i have the advantage.

but would it really matter if i have wrong wheel drive?

im not going to do a neutral drop, but rather braking while gassing it a bit.

is there a smarter way to launch an auto/fwd car?

ima check tire pressures, make sure i dont have a full tank of gas and take out my spare. anything else i can do to prepare?

anyone ever run a stock auto 240sx before? i have hx wheels if that matters at all.

two real slow cars both gonna be running like 18.5 at 75mph = most lame race evAr, and i would be posting **** like that in this forum cause it wont go nowhere

You're funny. Because this thread has no tech involved in at all. Your asking us who do we think will win? I can assure you that maybe .01% of HT will actually post the answer you're looking for.

Instead of asking us, why don't you just do it? You'll find out your answer that way.

because there is noone that actually does care, if you really wanna know its capabilities and how to drive it, i will reccommend searching for the info and try the drag racing forum and ask them about how to properly launch and such....you can also im me on jburnsua if you want some pointers

Haven’t you heard...? Rust is the new weight reduction system.. come on man.. you Noob your cars going to just absolutely smash him.. you’ll win by like 7 car lengths.. and while were at the guessing game.. I’m going to guess that he’ll come up to you after the race (assuming your at a track and not being dumb on the street) and he’s going to bow down and kiss your feet because he, like you, thought his car is/was fast, and thinks you are now god. In the mean time there’s going to be a 7 second Camaro running on the track behind you.. and of course since you guys are kissing each others asses.. you wont notice it. But... I’m just guessing.. Just looking what’s on paper.. Have fun on HT and don’t post that **** here.
