They offer both a 2.0L which was rare and a 1.8L, the ecu has a few differnces from the regular honda ecu's what they are I couldn't tell you. The engine wasn't desinged to be turbocharged though so im gonna call BS on it.
The 2.0L came with 250hp and the 1.8L came with 215hp if i remember correctly. Lastly no one in their right mind would sell that engine for $1000can.

what are you talking about? f&f thread? this is a spoon engine, and it is running ok accept that fact, and tell em some things, will it bolt in place of a 1.6 si motor? and did both the 2.0 and the 1.8 come turboed? or are they able to have turbos?
It is most likely not a spoon engine because a spoon engine costs around 6000 new but that is beside the point. The engine will not bolt into an 88-91 civic/crx chassis without the aid of a mount kit ie HASport,HCP, etc. They are high compression engines that were designed to be N/A motors and not turbocharged.

How do you know its a spoon motor, if you don't even know if the spoon motors come turbocharged?
Do a search. And read. Spend atleast a month researching. Then post again in this thread if you really feel you need to..

If it is indeed an engine built by Spoon Sports, it wiil either be 1.6 liters or 1.8 liters, and if it is turbo'd then it will probably not last too long considering that it is a high compression motor. It would theoreticly need to be tuned heavily using Hondata, or a similar aftermarket tuning software. They generally use a yellow powdercoated valve cover, but there really isn't anyway I can think of to positively Identify it without a reciept, or a build sheet from Spoon Sports. that being said it is very doubtful that it is a spoon motor. But if it is a b-series motor, that would be a decent find. If the car was impounded for street racing, I would recomend a rebuild, with lower compression if you would still like to go the turbo route. But I will say this I do not believe you. Sorry.
Ps. If you would have researched anything at all on your own, all of your questions would be answered, and nobody would have pissed you off. FYI
