Default 14" Mugens over GSR brakes?

Does anyone know if 14" Mugen wheels will fit over GSR brakes? I'm looking at CF-48s and MR5s. I know some 14" wheels will fit and some won't so some first hand experience would be appreciated.

yea the gsr brakes should fit fine with 14s, i do know that certain 14's such as hx will have to be modified a bit to fit the calipers correctly...why not jus get 15s and not have a big problem at all and 15s cant be much more expensive than the 14s....just my 2 cents

The real question is what 14 inch wheels fit over 11" Brakes? I heard somewhere, that volk makes a 14 inch wheel that fits over ITR brakes...any truth to this? ?

Yeah for a couple different reasons I'd kind of rather go with 14s, but if anything at least knowing that they fit would give me the most options.

14" with +45offset will work fine your offset is most likely +38 check your rim

So are you saying that +38 won't work? It needs to be +45 or greater?

integra brakes (not gsr...) will fit under 14" fine, as long as the spokes to not connect with the caliper (check offset - I wouldnt want 38).
Worst case, you need to run a 5mm spacer

Ive seen type r brakes behind 14" too

if the ex/gsr/si brakes are all the same (not sure if this is true) are they the biggest that can fit under the stock steelies?

hmm differing opinions here. Depending on which fit, what else is needed beside calipers, brackers, and rotors?

Where do they not fit? Is it an offset issue?

I'm sure steelies come in lots of different offsets, but I'm still wondering if 14in cf48s will fit over gsr brakes?

We've gone over this many times.

94-01 Integras come with 14" rims, so YES GSR brakes will clear a 14" rim. Check its offset if you are using an aftermarket rim.

YES the 11.1" rotors with ITR calipers take a 15" rim and there IS a 14" rim that will clear them, it is a Volk rim, i believe 6 spoke design and its not cheap.

ok great, so then all gsr and si can fit under the stock steelies, its just a matter of offset.

Look, the 96 civic EX brakes can fit under a 14" steelie. The 99-00 Si has the SAME brakes and I do mean identical, thus can take a 14" steelie. The 96 GSR has the SAME brakes EXCEPT the caliper piston is larger and thus are more powerful. The pads are similar and the caliper is not so much larger that it takes a 15". A GSR will allow 14" steelies over it.
