its a v6...i know this from my crystal ball. i peered into it and the words"h22 swap for v6 accord?" popped up.. then i realized..
HOLY CRAP!!! thats what the title of the thread is!! if only i would have read, i would not have asked such a dumb question

i belive they dont make a stick for the 5th or 6th gen accords..only an auto. so only another auto from a v6 will work.

that's incorrect at least as far as the 6th gen is concerned. they don't make a v6 5-speed tho, just the i4.

your bolded statement still does not make your point clearly. I read it the first time, no need to bold it like I'm blind.

I have NO IDEA if it would even bolt up to a C27, guessing probably not, but the CL 6 speed transmission is a manual honda trans. which WOULD bolt to a J30 (6th gen v6).

a h22 will not fit in directly as the nose on a 5th gen v6 is 3" longer and the engine mount locations are in different spots. I would just drop a more potent V6 in there from a newer accord or acura. beware though the v6 auto trannies have failure rates of about 5%

to answer the original question, you can swap in a manual transmission...there was an acura legend that used a manual transmission (may have been a 6 speed but i can not remember correctly)...it will bolt up...tracking one down will be the biggest issue however...

edit, after looking on auto trader, yes, the legend did come with a 6 speed transmission... http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/...t=731
