first u gotta pull the ashtray out then the lighter, once they're out look inside there will be three screws, unscrew those then pull out the whole piece( dont know how u call it, but u'll see.) U will have to take out the center console, once u take it out u will know how to pull the cd player out.

Do what he said but once you reach the part where the center console is off, there should b like 2 screws on the back holding the deck.

Correct, and like Mugen said there should be 2 more screws. Remove those and you're golden.

Greatness Thanks guys, now ya know were I can get the code for my radio once I get the serial from the back of my stereo?

I am installing a AEM short ram and I need to reset my ECU by unplugging the battery and then I need the code which Is why I am removing the radio.

Ur code should be in ur manual and a quick way to pull the deck is from the passanger side floor reach around drop the two 8mm screws which are also a flat head and the deck slides right out.

If you're unable to locate the code in your manual you'll need to goto a dealership, although I know there is someone on here that is able to get the codes. I'm not sure of his name though.

in my 95, the code for the radio is on the underside of the lid for the middle console. I'm not sure if it's like that for the newer models.

I had a card in my 97 if you open the manual on the left hand side there is a credit card type thing that had my code on it.

same here I had a credit card thingy for my 98 but if u can't find it do what JDM-EJ1 said and go to the dealership or find someone on HT that could help you out. I bet there are plenty of ppl on HT that either knows someone tat works at the dealership or works there themselves.

when i needed a code for my radio, i just called the dealership and gave them the serial number and they told me the code over the phone. it was easy. write your code and serial number in your manual once you get it also, that way you dont have to take out a bunch of crap to get to your radio again. it' s a pain in the *** to get that thing out. good luck.

yeah if you hunt around you can find the sticker. it should be a 5 or 6 digit code. they hide the sticker in all sorts of fucked up places, kind of like a treasure hunt. my accord has it under the trunk lid. most new cars have it on the glove box (inside or outside) somewhere. most dealers can plug into the IN (honda Interactive Network) and give you the code. worst case, replace the stereo, stock stereos suck anyway.

forgot to mention, not all cars have the sticker so don't drive yourself insane looking for it.
