this is how my lines are set up, by my mechanic.

block --OOOOO--T

.................... sender

those O's are looped together. The line is a braided line, he did it like this after that pipe that came with the autometer gauge kept cracking. Ive seen endyns way with one loop, but not this many loops. I just wanted to get your thoughts before i call him tomorrow.

Loops can be good, but if the tubing is 1/8", you may have differing oil pressures, lower to be exact. One loop is fine, but the Tee for the senders and oil line fitting has to be bolted to the block (in case it wasn't already). HTH

Are you using the 1/8" nylon line from the block to the "T"?

You can do all of this yourself.
The only reason the loop is there is to give slack between the "T" and the block. As long as there is slack you are OK, but this does seem excessive.

Make sure when you cut the 1/8" nylon tubing that you sand down the end with very fine sand paper to ensure it is perfectly square (90 degrees). This will prevent any leaks.
