Well guys I finally got my R!
Hello guys. Everyone has probably seen me around the forum looking for an R, and I just wanted to let everyone know that I finally got one. I purchased a 2000 FBP with 8K miles that had the interior completely stripped. The engine still runs strong and I finally got everything I needed to put her back together (With the help of parts from AdamITR). Too bad I don't know what number she is....any ideas one what number I should give to her?
Oh well, I hope everyone will go easy on me since I am a newbie that's here to learn.
And one last note............YES, I WILL USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION.

congrats, its odd that somoen would bother to steal the seats and leave the most sought after item, the engine. but then again thieves arent the brightest bunch, congrats on th new ride, later

Well, you are one lucky fellow along with every other Type-R onwer. Those things are hard to get and the prices just keep going up. It looks like I'll never have the chance to own one. Have fun.

Contact Mike K and see if he can run the VIN in the Honda/Acura Database and find out what the R's # is? I'm not sure if he can find out and I hope he doesn't mind helping out.

Jmm0056 - yeah the didn't take the motor, just the interior items.
And as far as the number goes, another H-T member said that I could contact Acura and get that production number but I'm not sure if that works or not. I have tried it once already and they said they couldn't help me. Oh well, maybe she'll go numberless.
