Default no spark, igniter?

Ok, some may know, but this has been a very long project i've been working on and finally trying to get her up and running. Background: B16a converted to obd1 using obd1 gsr distributor. Coil removed and using MSD 6al and blaster 2 coil. I am able to turn it over but no start. Fuel pressure is fine, and ecu is powered. I have tested all wires and none are getting spark. Looking through some previous posts, some people have had problems with igniters and msd ignitions. The distributor was bought used and supposedly worked and visually appeared in great condition. Is there a way to test the igniter or some other points I should be testing to confirm the culprit of the no spark issue? I will try and confirm the dizzy rewiring and make sure my red/white msd wires are correct, but I believe they are. FYI I also am using a gsr instrument panel and p28 chipped ecu. Haven't been able to check whether i'm getting any codes or not, help there would be cool since I'm not familiar with the obd1 code checking (sorry for lazyness). Thanks for the help

Yeah, i'll try to get some more concrete info on my wiring. Also, i've redone and checked all grounds. I redid my engine ground wires with new wire, and have 6 connections, including thermo-housing, starter case, trans, valve cover... This car has not been started in about 5 years, so most components in the car are new and untested. I have no info on whether my tach stopped working like most people with this situation, just starting from scratch. So with the obd1 ecu and 94+ gsr dash, grounding d4 will output the flashing code to my cluster, correct?

MSD is good, brand new and voltage levels were correct to coil. I didn't get a chance to work on the car tonight, but i'll try to grab the info tomarrow after work. Its probably something stupid like one of the white distributor wires is switched around.

Very often the MSD stuff kills the stock ignitors, I would grab one from the yard and put it in. I bet thats whats wrong. and to check the codes on an OBD1 car you have to jump out the service connector, and it will read out on the cluster. (check engine light will blink)
