just wondering i might want to get a system and have about 700 to spend what would be my best pick if i wanted to get 1 12in sub with a good amp to go along with it. i normally listen to rap/ r&b so yeah tell me what you guys think but i have 1 sub in mind but i want to have other peoples opinion 1 12 inch jl audio w6-v2 and not sure what kind of amp but thats one sub i have in mind thanks

 

is the 700 just going to bass? if so i would suggest 2 Diamond Audio 12's in a slot-vent enclosure and a memphis 500d, which in my area goes for right at 700, if you are also getting mids and highs (highly reccommended) I would look into http://www.ikesound.com they usually have pretty good deals.

The JL Audio 500/1 would be a great amp, but may put you over the $700.
There are lots of good 400 -500 watt mono block amps out there. 94

 

what would be a great amp to power up 2 10s JL audio w3.. i have those but might want to sell it for just 1 12 but not too sure yet

i picked up a fosgate bd1000a1 and a alpine 12inch type-x for 500 range and in the right box its sounds real clear and louder than i expected!
