Default d15b7 and rev limit question?

i have the stock engine in my 93 lx, and it redlines at 6500 i belive (correct me if im wrong)

i over revved my engine today and noticed my limiter is not until 7500 rpms. i thought it would be lower.

could ya help me out, is something wrong, or is it normal

Im pretty sure that your rev limiter is around 7000. Often times, the stock honda tach can be inaccurate at high rpms.

The stock Honda tachometers are off, by a lot. They do that so dorks who want to rev the **** out of a bone stock D15B7 could shift before they grenade something. Regardless of what RPM you want to shift at, you're going to be slow as molasses.
