Default Future event: Autox at Virginia Tech, March 17

It is being held in conjunction with the Blue Ridge Region of the SCCA and the Car Club of Virginia Tech. It will be in either the Commuter section of the "Cage" parking lot or the Litton Reeves parking lot, where it was held last year. It is a very popular event, over 120 competitors last year. As an added bonus, the Car Club of Virginia Tech is holding a car show the day before in the commuter lot off of Prices Fork Rd. If you want to come for both days, I may be able to put you up in my apartment, but be forewarned, it is real dirty.... like..... real dirty. The other problem is parking, my complex took away about half of the visitor spots, but there are other alternatives. Anyways, just trying to garner some interest for the event. Thanks!

Do you have any idea how far Virginia tech is away from Baltimore.

If it's less than 3.5 hours, I might think about coming down.

I am trying to attend as many events as I can.

thanks,

aj

its 4 hours from Northern Va, so I would say about 5 hours for you, a bit on the long drive side

you guys are just lucky I only got one run in last year . I was in SM, and didnt get my first run till 3:30, and i had to be at a group meeting at 3!! . Needless to say I wasnt happy since I did a lot to get that event off, not as much as Nichols did though .

Ok, i think we'll try to be there. We'll see... maybe if i ran with BRR and squeezed in the first heat, i could be done at 10:30-11... head to VMP (2 hrs)... run with NASA too thats a long day........

You are an autocross nut What are you trying to get in as much seat time before the season starts?

Talk about resurrecting an old post...

integra-modder - Are you interested in autox in the Blacksburg area? If so, check out http://www.brr-scca.org/ There was an event in Radford on the 17th, just this past weekend. Next event is in Staunton, Sept. 14. Sounds like a prime opportunity for another VT-JMU PAX showdown. Too bad I won't be in attendance though.
