1.7 is still experimental and very unstable it has tons of bugs. just run 1.66

ummmm you are 100% WRONG! uber 1.7 is one of the most stable versions, period! i use it in my car and ALL the cars i tune with. i have had zero problems with it and it runs flawless.

where did u download this version of uberdata from. go to http://uberdata.info and click on the first section on the forum and download uber1.7 that bigwig posted up. thats the one i use and i have no problems at all

what map r u using? when u import some maps, there will be a spike in the boost sections. all u need to do is setup the boost efficiency and the timing retard and the spike will go away.

This is all you needed to say. You have no idea what version of Uberdata was used to make the bin on that chip. Hell it might not have even been made in Uberdata. Bottom line is you can't open a 1.66 bin in 1.70 or a 1.70 bin in 1.66. So if you don't know what version the bin was made in then throw it in the trash or take a chance and run it in your car. This is the kind of thread that spreads massive misinformation.

You can't open files from a different version of Uberdata. You have to open stockgsr.bin and then IMPORT...

I think I pretty much covered it, but like dustin said you can either copy over or import the maps into the stockgsr.bin and save it if you are trying to modify it or burn another chip.
