Just got back and parked the car. Popped the hood to cleaned the area a little. I noticed that the coolant level is 2 to 2.5 inches above the MAX line [I just had an oil change recently and I guess they added coolant in there. Is that okie? Should I pour some out?

yes you should pour it out.

 

I'm going to check it again in the afternoon becasue it totally cooled down now. so if it's still high, I should pour it out untill the level is just below the MAX line right? any more comment?

 

don't worry about it.

 

do NOT pour it out on the ground! Put it into some sealed container that you can use later on to drain more old coolant into, then when the container is full take it to AutoZone or some similar place for disposal.
