Weird noise when reaching high RPM's and shifting HElP!!!
I have a 99 EX Civic with a AEM intake and muffler i cant improve my engine in anyway because of this noise thats like a little click or a slippin noise im not sure if its a belt or what has anywone had any problem with this or knows whats up?
When it gets to high RPMs and is coming down it kinda makes like a turbo or like a squeeling noise its very short like less then a second long its kinda difficult to be specific cuase i dont know much about it you rev it up and when you let it off it makes it right before the RPM comes down um it sounds kinda like maybe a belt could be slippin or maybe that type of sound...

My intake used to make that sound all the time. If it is just the sound of air like a pssshhhhh, don't worry about it.

Yea its probably the intake. My DC2 makes that pshht sound every 3500rpm then it goes off after it pass that rpm.

Well it does make that noise when the air conditioning is on but when the air conditioning is off it doesnt make it plus the intake noise sounds good this one doesnt so i guess it has something to do with the A/C any ideas?
