ok heres the problem but im not sure if its the ball joints or cv joints or what, when i take off from a light say it makes a clunk noise or when im stepping on it and go to second it will make a clunk noise or when im coming out or a turn it does it to, im thinking its the cv joints cuz the passenger side drive shaft has alot of play in it when i move it around with my hand. so i just want to make sure what it is before i go buy the parts, if it is a cv joint do i just buy new drive shafts and how hard is it to change them yourself?

 

i'd say its the CV joint. Its pretty easy to replace if you got the right set of tools.

 

Your best bet is to look under the car before you go buy things
