Retard a few degrees. Get 1 step colder plugs. Fuel regulator and gauge. Squeeze a 75 shot on Falken Azenis or BFG Drag Radials. Cheapest way possible. But don't expect your motor or clutch to last long with that setup.

THere you go man, Thats what i would do.

I have a D16Y8 with a Compucar 75 Shot in my car turned the Dizzy. all the way back, and i beat the top of my Fuel Pressure Regulator in to Up the fuel. and that Son of a bitch will roll the **** out. I beat a 95 GSR the other night by "5" cars!

OK, you said you want Streetable power but Cheep, NOS "would" be the way to go. but its not street legal there. so that leaves you with Turbo. a SOHC Turbo WILL be the cheepest. There found all over the place, and people rid them for cheep.

b16 is the most expensive, a stock b16 on Slicks with full interior with I\H\E will run at BEST a mid 14. Your GOING to need a power adder. NOS, Turbo, SC. ITBS.

ITBS need be tuned and cams are needed to get the full effect. and there expensive unless you want to make them your self.

NOS is cheep, but not street legal where you are.

Turbo would be the best bang for buck in your situation, SOHC or DOHC b16.
