Default As Requested: 10 second 240sx!!

We took the drag car to the track yesterday for the first time ever. We were figuring there was going to be a lot of "figuring stuff out". To our suprise, there wasn't...we hit 10s on our 4th pass. Here's a quick video:

What kind of motor is in that thing? It sounds like a small block. Specs on the car?? Congrats on the run. 10 seconds in any car, with any motor is no easy task.

Hey I saw that thing run last night. I was impressed to see it but shocked to see the setup. I think ist a small block chevy. back half, 4 link with true 10.5. I liked it but could not stop thinking how nice it would be to see it with an RB.

Nice car but it didnt look like it got off the line too well for a back halved car. What was the 60' on that run?

Are you running an automatic tranny? Sounds like it only went through 1st and 2nd gears... Nice run though

Its OK to be a loyal fan of imports, i am too, but when credit is due it shall be given. And i don't care what car or what engine, but when the people are cool, i give them props.

Wow people are ********.

It's called "being original"! I hate domestics just as much as the next guy, but this car is awesome. Great job again. Now put that rear end to good use and run some 9's.

It would've been easier to put a RB26 into that car than it would to do what he did. It's funny that there are still people on this forum that actually have no clue whatsoever, what it takes to build a car, and run a number.

really?

WOW I'm sooo Impressive

Tubed out 240sx
Huge big block V8
10.9@121? yea
very very impressive
since It takes ALOT of careful tunning and parts to make a huge V8 go fast
even in a light body like the 240sx
compared to a SR20 or a 4 cyl

Its EASY to make a 4 cyl go fast
but much props to the man to get a Big Block going fast
since that is un heard of

Hey its cool
I understand that 95% of the hondas on the street are used as regular communting cars..and not as a performance platform
So of course alot of you Just Love V8's and only use the Honda as a daily driver

now I don't know
maybe its just me
but getting 1000HP out of 4 cyl
Or a Little 1.3 Liter RX-7 running 9.1 in the 1/4 mile
with STOCK REAR end STOCK tranny full glass full body panels
is just a weeee bit more impressive then a Big Block V8
which or course have been running 6 second times since the 50's

No one forced you to buy a import
don't be a Ricer buy American Muscle

I can apcreciate the engineering that went into the car but the only thing that's a 240sx is the body. Be more impressive if it was street driven. You can do the same thing in a Vega.
