First and foremost, it's not a "domestic big block"...it's a "domestic small block".
Second, the price to build this motor cost about 1/4 to 1/5 of the price to build an RB26. You're just another damn ricer who gets huge boners over skylines and drifting I'm sure.
Now to answer a few other questions...
It's actually not a 4 link setup, it's a ladder bar setup. Much more simple...not "as much" adjustability...but it works. Another thing to keep in mind guys...this was our FIRST TIME OUT. These were our shake down runs. We were cutting 1.5X 60' which isn't bad, but it will get better when we figure things out. BY NO MEANS should you judge this car for how it ran on Friday...so much more to come.
Now to all the internet ***** touchers that think they have "much faster WRXs or misc superturbocharged preludez or what not"...If you think your car is faster, come race the V8 240...
...oh and, until you HAVE SOMEHTING RUNNING...sit the **** down.

This kid is a tool. If im not mistaken he drives a 2nd RX7 that #1 will not out run this 240 by far. And I THINK that the best times he's ran was mid 12's.
He's also part of Orlando Forums and he always talks like he's god's gift with his rotary.
But whatever the point is that car was not just slapped together it took a bit of engineering to weasel that motor in and the guys working on it probably had a bit more knowledge that you'll ever have.

my god u r a idiot, first the enigine is a small block, second, it doesnt take much to make a v8 sb or bb fast, get/build a nice carb and maybe some head3ers and a bore it a bit and i lil bit parts and ur fast, and 6 secs from the 50s? prostock cars r running 6s now and the cars from the 50s that were muscle car (muscle car= a car that was fairly fast from factory but not a sports car exp. chevelle, camaro) we runnin above 11s, and that 1000hp rx7 is prob insanely built, in hotrod magazine they had a viper running 7s with full interior plus a sound system amps and speakers
