What oil do you run?
You know the drill. Post em Up! I wanna see what you all are running.
I changed mine out cuz I was getting some false neutrals and hard 2nd gear shifts and threw in some Yamalube on a whim... :looks left: :looks right: (in my Suzuki) and this stuff has been nothing short of exceptional. I love it.
Anyhow thats just me. Have at it....

I used Castrol R4 Superbike .. it was pretty cheap, like $6 somethin per liter. I wasn't sure what to run, so i went to Cycle Gear and talked to a guy who's a long time racer (with a few Duc's chillin in his garage
) and he said he only uses the R4 Superbike.. soo i tried that. The shifting felt a little different, but it was better .. one thing i did notice was that it ran a little cooler and my fan (on the RR) would not be turning on as frequently. they did mention that it needed to be changed more often then regular oil, as it breaks down faster or something along those lines.
No complaints here .. other then after spending like $50 or whatever it was to do it, my bike was totalled 3 days later .. i'm tempted to re-use the 3 days old oil and K&N oil filter haha
Castrol R4 Superbike is an advanced, fully synthetic 4-stroke engine oil that increases engine horsepower and acceleration throughout and up to maximum rpm. Unique anti friction, low viscosity formula reduces drag for faster gear changing. The choice of many World Superbike Race Teams.

I use Amsoil. One of the only TRUE synthetics left out there. Most claim (and legally so) that they are true synthetics when they are just cracked hydrocarbons.
Amsoil tends to score the highest in testing. Motorcycle Consumer News did a two issue test of motorcycle oils and Amsoil came out on top.

MX4T only!
After years of Extensive Dyno/Track Testing With our race cars, I would only Use Mobil 1 Oil!!
After 600 miles I changed my oil to MX4t, Not only did my kawasaki Shift better/smoother it also made the most power at a Local Dyno Day compaired to the 3 other Zx6R's!
