Wiseco's????
I ordered a set of the coated wiseco's to at an 8.5:1 compression ration today in 88mm. My blocks already sleeved so im not worried about the whole forged piston in the FRM sleeve thing, My Last pistons were JE 9.0:1's but i couldnt get the size i needed since the sleeve has to be bored, My only question is am i going to have any problems outa these or any lost horsepower cutting the compression down a little????

i dont think anyone in their right mind would go to 8.5:1 in a h22/h23 without going to FI. 8.5 would give..120 whp? if that...

Its arealdy FI, was running about 12 pounds on my T3/T4 Hybrid with FMIC, Hondata S200, 550cc Injectors, AEM Rail and pump, turbosmart controller, Crower crank, and rods, and a few other goodies, can i run a lil more boost? or can i just will the head down some?

Well u got a sleeved block with forged pistons and 8.5:1 compression. you should be able to go 15-20lbs on pump gas. if u want to boost more just add some c16. since your motor is built u might want to go ahead and get larger injectors so you dont max out your injectors when u up the boost.
what happened to your other pistons? you shoud have been running a good amount of boost then if it was tuned correctly. you shoud be good for 350 (17 to 20 psi) because of the injectors being your limitting factor.

The power he'll lose in compression should be made up for in the increased displacement, since he bored the block.

The original poster said his block was bored. Old pistons wouldn't work.

Ok lets start this over- I cant use the JE pistons one was scarred and i have to bore the sleeves that are already there, # 3 cyl, had a bad ridge-
I have a complete fuel management system already, with RC 550CC injectors, Hondata S200, AEM Rail, AEM Pump, All braided Lines, ect-
I was only running 7-8 pounds with my other setup witch was, JE 87mm 9.0:1's, Crower Crank and rods, With a sleeved and line bored h22a4 block.
Since im only goin down .5 on the comp. ration i dont see a huge loss. i will just cut the boost to bout 14-15 pounds.
I was hoping somebody can give me an idea of what kinda power im going to make with these mods i have-
RC 550cc injectors, AEM Fuel Rail, AEM Fuel Pump, Turbonetics T3/T4 Hybrid, Front mount intercooler with all hardpipes, Crower Crank, Sleeved Block, The Wiseco pistons, Turbosmart boost controller, Tial 38mm Wastegate, Greddy EVO 2 Full Stainless Catback- I got some other stuff but thats about it-

pointless post man. i was asking because most people know when you drop compression you lose hp.

the exhaust would be your bottleneck. everything under ur hood isnt carb legal
so dont even worry about ur exhaust being carb legal. look at 3" piping with a test pipe and i'd run a resonator because if not, it's going to loud as hell.
what are ur goals exactily and are u planning to run this on the street? u could possibly run that ~20 pounds of boost on the street, but make sure u get it tuned before u do so. lean + detonation = cracked pistons. i'll sell you some cracked pistons if u want
they're arias btw, but they would do no good besides beating urself in the head for buying a hunk of metal that is essentially useless. 20 pounds is asking a lot for pump gas. if u can get 100 octane easily where u live, go ahead. 91 is pushing it pretty far..maybe with retarded timings..talk to a tuner about this.

Nope this is going to be my daily driver, i dont wanna run but about 12-15 pounds on it, just wanna make some good hp and still keep it on the 93 outa the pump- So it needs to be reliable, I am gonna break my motor in on 7.5 pounds or so for about a week or 2 then have it tuned for what i decide on, the orig tune i have on it now is for 12 pounds so it will be ok 4 now, I have a stock or hight flow cat plus the one that is made into the greddy kit, and the resonator so im gonna get rid of that stock cat before i run it- should have it finished in about 2 weeks, I still need rod and main bearings to fit my crower crank since the turned it 10/10, its forged so im not worried about any problems i just need the bearings-
