Wish I could go but I got a big internship at Honeywell in Arizona and can't exactly ask for time off to go play with my car

I was really looking forward to going to. Oh well; maybe I can fly out just for the weekend to hang with you guys.

But seriously, It's not that much (if any) more expensive than any other 2-day full track event.
Apparently brakes aren't even that much of an issue.

Ed -- who's freshly back from VIR and looking forward to the ITR EXPO.

My check and registration departed from Lincoln, NE on Friday and should be there sometime this week. I cant wait to meet you guys there, it is going to be a blast!!! I hope that there are a bunch of Type R owners that are just waiting for the money to get there registrations turned in or it is going to be a pretty weak Type R expo, sense there will be more none Type Rs there than ITRs.

 

I would go, but I bet my car will still not be ready, at the rate it is going.

This is kinda funny... we had this same problem with people for the first expo...

How many R were at the first Expo? I hope that we have a good turn out I would love to see forty+ R's sitting in that pits at Gingermen

 

The first expo, if memory serves, had over 150 people "signed up"
But the actual number of cars that showed up was around 50.

 

Damn lets hope that we dont follow that presedent because then there is only going to be like two people there Maybe some of the poeple that signed up and didnt make it last year are being a little more timid this year and will come through in the end b

 

And only around 35 of them were R's.

I was a first-timer @ VIR this weekend (yesterday), and pointed many a car (mostly Rs) by in the Intermediate sessions.
And it was still loads of fun (in the best possible way)

Especially when my Instructor got really "Happy" in the car whem I finally clipped the apex at 11/11a.
(I have video to prove it)

BTW --- Thanks Oscar, ... they should have gotten rid of that one cone.
