Check this out....I just bought a 2000 Honda Civic SI with a B16a, other than a few minor problems, one stands out. After running it for a week, the engine light came on. Me and my buddy retracted the codes from the ECU...the code was "45". In the manual it says "System to lean/rich." Our first guess would be the o2 sensor, or the spark plugs, or somewhere in the fuel delivery system, "like fuel presure regulator".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Has anyone ever had this same problem? I checked the spark plugs.....and they didnt look to bad....

I was just looking for some of the main problems other people have had. I dont want to start replacing everything if it doesnt need it.....Im going to check the o2 sensor tomorrow....

 

about 75% of the time its the o2 or clogged fuel filter.

 

Ok, Im home on my lunch break but I will check that out later on tonight when I get off.
