im in the middle of my itr conversion and i plan on having yellow hids in the fog section of the headlight and the oem honda hids in the other. i was wondering if anyone has any pictures of this setup? thanks.

 

I would advise against it. The factory fog lamp housing is designed to use an H3 bulb with a horizontal filament. Typical HID capsules have a vertically positioned arc. Because of this, the resulting beam pattern will likely be less than optimal, which is not something you want on fog lamps (or any vehicle lighting for that matter).

 

i thought the fog section already had a yellow shroud over the bulb so you dont need a yellow bulb

you are correct. But...some people buy yellow bulbs anyway....

 

HID fogs?? u will never need them... the OEM hid's are already bright enough..can see everything at nite...

 

the lights also have a yellow cap inside that a hid bulb will not fit into because it it longer
