Default LS/Vtec break in?

i was curious as to whats the best way to break in a fresh ls/vtec build. new bearings/ pistons and rings. how many miles should i go before i change the oil and whats the max rpm i should be taking it to during the break in period?? o and i planned on going on a 200 mile drive on the freeway and speed limit is 75. is this gonna be ok?

id say you should change the oil after 500 miles a couple times and as far as rpm's id say drive it like a daily driver so no more then like 4-4500rpm... dont quote me tho hopefully youll get more feedback... good luck with it

that should be cool, just try to stay out of hi rpm range, especially vtec... i would take it really easy for the first 1k-1.5k miles to make sure ur engine doesnt end up smoking like a train

You do not need to break it in. Drive it like you will drive it.
