Default OBD0 - OBD1 Conversion.....problems

I recently converted to OBD1 to run a D16 mini-me. I got the harness from Boomslang and I did all the wiring. The problem is the car wont start. I have a working 6AL installed (since OBD0) but I get no spark or injector pulse. If the ignitor is bad (I bought the dizzy used) could that prevent the ECU from sending an ijector pulse. I have a chipped P28 running chrome. The burn is not bad cause I used said ECU to start another car. I even cut the "J1" jumper to return the ECU to stock but still nothing. Any ideas?

No spark or injector pulse.. check the dizzy... even if the ignitor was dead, you should at least get fuel.

I double-checked the dizzy and the wiring is per the instructions, color for color. The only one that different is the large white (OBD0) to yellow/green (OBD1).

The first thing i would check is to make sure that you have power to the coil. You said you are using the 6AL MSD BOX. Im guessing your also using an external coil. If this is the case, then it should be easy.

1. Just put the key in the car, key on engine off and you should see around 12 volts using a multimeter. If you dont have voltage, check your fuses and make sure that the wire is connected all the way through. That nothing has been disconnected.

2. If that's okay, then check the coil. With the multimeter check for RESISTANCE on both positive coil and negative coil. I believe it should be between 12,000-17,000 ohms. Then one lead of the multimeter on the positive and the other lead where the coil connects to the distributor through the wire. Then do the same thing, but this time to the negative coil. I think it should be around .05-.09 ohms. I might have gotten the numbers mixed up but you should know when you check it.

3. If this is good, then i would replace the ignitior again. Also, make sure the distributor that you are using is in good condition. You might try using it in a friends' car.
