Would a 88-91 crx or civic sir b16 engine mounts (jdm) work
Im a noobie yeah yeah i know. But i got a question im building a ef civic in Jamaica and i have access to the sir engine mounts for the old jdm b16 engine. What i want to know is would these engine mounts work on a b18b (ls) swap in the ef chassis. They r cheaper than the hassport set up. Just trying to save some money and weigh my options. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Did Jamaica get civics directly from Japan?? The SiR mounts will only work for the EF chassis. If the chassis is an ED chassis(North American chassis code) the stock b16a mounts will not work and you will need the HAsport setup.

if you re-weld the mount locations in the engine bay.

unless you really know how to weld or know someone very good. cause the crx I got right now had that job done before I bought and it kinda scares me. This was done to my rex before hasport came out with the mount kit.
