oem intakes w/ b-series swaps
i dont know if somebody already took a hack @ this but im going to emissions today and i didnt wanna get hasseled by the ref's. my intake arm is some blah blah bs bs that seams to fit well on the gsr intake manifold BUT even though its carb legal with the sticker and all i couldnt take the chance...
i was digging around the shop and happened to come across a 97' LS intake arm from what i can tell. i threw it on and it actually fit quit nicely except the box containing the filter was sitting in the factory battery location (mines in back). still i wasnt satisfied with the fitment so i removed the box from the arm, flipped the filter and joined elbow upside down, dissasembled the box, flipped it so that it was facing upright again and put everything back together. all i can say is WOW...it looks very very clean
just a heads up for those gsr swapped rex's still running the gsr mani...
pics up soon...btw: what oem intakes are you guys runing with your b-swaps?

good stuff.I use an aftermarket LS intake on my B16, but am wanting to make an airbox out of a OEM box using my own 3" piping. I plan on trying out the DA box first, prob. this weekend.
