Default need help, 97 civic w/ 99 gsr....which p/s pump....

Like the header says, ive got a 97 civic w/ a 99 gsr. Got the pump mounted on the block and everything, go to hook up the power steering line to the pump, wont work. Which pump do I need to use to get the line to work in it? Ive searched and every thread I read about it danced around the question but noone actually said which pump they used.......help.......

I've always used the bracket and P72 B-Series pump itself.

I've never seen anyone run the D-Series pump on a B-series swap in a Civic.

Also if you want to keep A/C get the Del Sol VTEc or 99-00 Civic Si A/C bracket - the CR-V one is cheaper, but won't allow you to keep both A/C and P/S.

dont have the stock one, ive had a b series swap for about 3 yrs now, never got my stock motor back. gave it to the guy who first did my b20 swap. ive got the gsr pump mounted already to the motor. its just the stock civic p/s line wont go into the gsr pump.....i dunno...
will a civic si pump work....?

also, not worried about a/c, all that is already gone. hard lines to the firewall, pump, fans....all gone. havent had that for about 3 yrs now also. not my daily driver so im not worried about it, got a/c in my integra...

When you say the line won't go into the pump, do you mean it won't reach, or the fitting doesn't match up?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by B18C5-EH2 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">When you say the line won't go into the pump, do you mean it won't reach, or the fitting doesn't match up?</TD></TR></TABLE>

the fitting wont go into the hole and the bolt holes are kinda off a little also....the hole on the pump itself is smaller than the fitting on the line....
