Bummer dude. My CRX has nothin in the front.
So this may sound silly, I bought a CRX from some chump in my city who knew absolutely nothing about the car. I'm sure he had some dream of making it some ten second dream machine, but unfortunately it sat in his driveway for a year, and he lost $100 on the deal. What he did seem to know is that the brakes currently weren't working and his guess because the master cylinder was empty was that they weren't hooked up. Or at least, I think that was his guess because that's what he told me.He also mentioned that the person who sold him the car didn't have all the nuts that go over the strut tower.
So last summer I swapped my LS/VTEC into this thing, but didn't have time to finish the swap or hook up the brakes or get the remaining castle nuts for the top of the suspension. So I went to Ohio (Go Buckeyes) for a year and came back, all motivated to finish the swap so I can have a car next year in Ohio.
One major bump in the road was that the car has 7-sided JDM lugnuts and wheel locks all for which I have no keys. So without wasting a few sockets, I wasn't going to be getting those wheels off any time soon.
I take it to a good friend to finish the swap for me (I'm lazy and should be working on my parents deck not my car these days) and offer to pay him to "hook up the brakes" and finish the swap.
I get a call about an hour after leaving his shop, he had finall got all the lug nuts off and the wheels were finally removed, and guess what...
THERES NO ******* BRAKES IN THE FRONT.
NO ROTORS.
NO CALIPERS.
NOT EVEN A CRX HUB
THE SUSPENSION BOLTS ARE ALL MISSING.
Just some knuckle from who-the-**** knows what car.
Some how last summer when I swapped in the motor, I didn't even notice there was nothing there?!
So now my weekend is going to be spent stripping the hell out of my old bent up CRX (which I gave to this friend last summer) so that I can get some parts.
The goods? Well I'm getting my old exhaust back for free (going to need some TLC but it looked good and had a nice 5Zigen Fireball Muffler. That and I'll now be able to pull the rear disc off my old one (It was a 91.) The bads? Well besides the obvious shitty task of having to strip a car, my car is now being delayed even more (counting down the days to my road trip deadline to get back to school) and I now am going to need to dispose of a non-rolling chassis.

Dude that is great that it came with no brakes up front. Now you have the perfect excuse for some Intergra brakes, some of us only wish we could be so lucky to have such a great excuse. Instead I just ripped of perfectly good knuckles, calipers and rotors off my car in favor of EX knuckles,ITR caliper, and prelude rotors and my wife was like what is wrong with your brakes now....ummm ummm ummm...nothing? eerrrrr well they don't feel right? If you were still up in OH I know many people there with extra CRX parts, or I could sell you some of mine.
Go Bucks!

Mine came with no brakes as well
Hit up a DA for the bigger, better parts. Thinking, back, mine didn't come with any wheels either, it was sitting on 2x4's that were sunk into the ground and grass grown halfway up the side of the car

I didn't get the axles out, they were already out I was told the car was basically just waiting for a swap... I'm not sure I'm going to go with the integra brakes plan because I want to get the car running by monday, which means unless someone has them for sale and can get them to washington by monday....

Autoworks; I hope that at least you notice the absence of wheels before doing an engine swap!

Definately, I brought a set of wheels with me to push it up on the trailor to tow home.
