Default Cheap B16 Build

I need to know if this setup would work.

B16B pistons
B16 rods
B16 head
Crower stage 3 cams

or Ls crank and rods I want at least 12.0 c/r not more 13 pump gas only
Any other combos would help thanks

not worth it. you might as well put better parts and more stuff while its apart.

I was running ctr pistons, I/H/E, skunk2 manifold and made 162whp. With some cams that could easily be 180+whp. I put in a full arp set and it was doing fine until I ripped it out to legally pass smog in cali.

It's definately possible. Omniman made 200whp with a b16a using mostly inexpensive parts. Only god//buddha//whatever knows how he did it though. I think with itb's and some cams my engine could have made 200whp.

Im kinda rev happy like in the 8-9.5k range. Thats why I dont want to something like lsvtec

Well since I was only on stock cams I was only revving to 8200. With the right cams and valvetrain along with arp components you could probably rev pretty dam high. You should definately balance the rotating assembly if you're going to be revving it high though. Also maybe you should think about using some aftermarket rods like eagles or something that's really not too expensive.

Eagle rods wouldnt be to bad. Would gsr rods work in the b16. Right now my spare b16 is just a block with a cracked crank
