B20 swap questions-searched many hours-still have questions
Please dont tell me to search some more...I've spent a lot of time doing that, coming up with mainly users wanting info on B20Vtec setups or non OBD2b systems.
Assuming the swap will be a JDM B20B (97obd2a) into a 00 OBD2b LS Integra.
I plan on reusing as many parts possible that are in the car already without spending any excess money on other parts. I'm running full A/C, P/S, Cruise control, DC 4-1 Header, and the OEM catalytic converter.
questions:
1. will a 97 OBD2a B20 be compatible with the OBD2b harness already in the car?
2. I've read that using the LS ecu makes the B20 run lean, so will an FPR solve the problem, without tripping the OBD2b CEL?
3. I just changed a number of critical parts on my B18B such as the clutch, flywheel, timing belt, other drivebelts, and waterpump. Just for verification all these newer parts are interchangeable, correct?
4. are there any other parts I will need, particularly the distributor, alternator, and ac compressor?
Thanks in advance!

it should be a simple swap.
all the sensors and such are mainly on the head and intake manifold so if your using the original LS head/intake then you can use the same ECU and harness......everything will plug in no prob.
all the other components just bolt right on without any funny buisness.......its quite a simple swap.......did it myself in the garage in about a day.......
the B20 short block is 100% identical (externally) to a B18B....with exception that the B20Z has a hole for a knock sensor above the oil filter area but you wont need that.....

even though i have an extra LS head lying around, i still plan to use the head that comes with the b20, but still use my LS intake manifold, so that should be okay right?

So all the obd2b crap wont trip?

hmm....sup again NoN-V...well now that im passed all the BS...i am having MOTOR MOUNT probs with the B20 fitting in my EG (95 honda civic coup / 5 speed) and im using all stock Gsr / Ls motor mounts that i had when i had my 96 Gsr in the coup...any ideas on why im having these mount issues if the block's externally identical to the Gsr / Ls B18's i had prior to the B20 Swap... here is more info to give you an idea what im going through...
