B20 MOUNT ISSUE FOR "EG"...NEED HELP
i have the timing belt bracket / motor mount and tranny mount bolted on, and the REAR LOWER TRANNY MOUNT will not line up correctly leaving about a 1 inch gap from the mount located by the fire wall....all my current mounts are from a 96' Gsr that threw a rod and was then replaced with the B20 block/gsr head and now there is this motor mount issue....does anyone know of the proper mounts i should be useing for the swap (95' civic coup / B20b manuel)
all 94-up tegs (5-speed) have the same rear "k-bracket" this is the correct bracket you have. is this swap auto or 5 speed? all of the mounts from the teg will bolt the swap into all egs given 5 speed for 5 speed..
the swap is a 5 speed, 1995 Honda Civic Coup....we are, with both side mounts on....still about `1 inch short of reaching the bottom rear mount...
so what u guys are saying is that....all the mounts i am using are the right ones...hmm...this is verrrry strange, makes no sence at all....unless anyone else has more info...i guess i might have to try the REAR BOLT-UP technique first thing tomorrow... but eveyone that takes a lok at it is saying that we must have at least one of the brackets wrong...

it should line up unless the guy you got the "gsr" mounts from gave you a mount for some other vehical.......loosen most of the mounts a little and wiggle/rock the engine around a little it should line up as long as its the correct mount......
ok kewl...naw the Gsr mounts are correct...i just pulled my Gsr out like 2 months ago from my same 95 civic coup after i threw a rod...but this is starting to make sence now a little...we had the side mounts touqued down when we were trying to fit the rear mount on...this time i will losen all the mounts then get them all on PRIOR to bolt down...ill let you guys know what happened by the end of the day...thx again NoN-V - swift
