00-662 Stolen!
I regret to inform my fellow culleges here at honda-tech that my beatiful 00-662 FBP Acura Integra Type R has been stolen in front of my own house here in the bay area, I basically woke up went to my drive way and gone!. I feel anger, depression, and sadness all now. I bid adue to my fellow type R owners for I am here to resign of my membership due to the theft. I consider this my farewell letter to my car since I did not get a chance to say bye. I wish my baby little abuse and torture from the theives. I hope the theives rot in hell and from here on. Please everyone say no to theft and say no to buying stolen ****!
Please everyone who ever drives a fellow type R please take car of your gorgous cars. Please take good care of them.

There is ALWAYS a post on theft within the top 20 or so on the Type-R board. I'm so tired of it...
I love Honda's to death, but everytime I read a theft story and see a hatch or crx with a motor swap in it I AUTOMATICALLY assume it was stolen. It puts a bad taste in my mouth. As far as im concerned, I've lost respect for the Honda scene entirely due to this theft problem.

Can't get much more disrespectful than that to those of us with HATCHs and CRXs who pay for our **** from legitimate distributors. Big
to Rizen and his stereotypes. Go take a Sociology class

I don't want to disrupt this thread entirely, but as far as your comment on me being a stereotype... when more than 80% of the swaps in your town are NOT legit, then you might feel the same way. When YOUR car is stolen and it's happened to you, then you might feel the same way.
As for the legitimate people, great. You are the minority. Want a ******* cookie? Jesus christ, don't get all defensive and expect me to praise the few who actually abide by the law and do something right.

I'm sorry for your loss Optimo, it shouldn't happen to anyone as far as im concerned. I hope you find a car equally if not better than the R that fits your daily needs. Goodluck man

sux man. Sry for your loss. What goes around comes around. Those theives will get caught one day and will spend a few years in federal pound me in the *** prison. I pray for the day i can catch someone trying to ****** mine... I will have vengence for all the r's.

sad to hear that...my friend almost got his NHBP ITR stolen from his driveway but he caught the foo's in the middle of it...they had slim jimmed the door open but he has a loud *** pager alarm and his alarm was in silent mode but his remote started to beep and said his door was open so we looked out the window and saw 2 more integras outside and a pickup truck which were never there since he lives on a culdesac so during the movie we were watching on his computer we went outside with a shotgun and caught 4 guys breaking in...so we told them to stay there we hog tied them with zip ties and dropped them off in a deserted parking lot and had their cars towed....hehe...we got lucky that time but im sure they'll try to do it again
