Default B16a pistons/ls block??

just wanna make sure this is ok. Im pttin PR3/B16a pistons in my ls block, ls crank and ls rods. the dome part comes above the block a lil is this normal and ok? this is on an ls/vtec setup with GSR head

You'll be fine.

The compression is around 11.58:1.

Veeeerrrrryyyy nice compression.

well, i used to have ctr pistons in there and was running pretty high c:r but one of the pistons melted due to pre detonation. 91 octane will be ok wont it at that c:r?

yup thats my set-up minus the gsr head ( built b16 head) just get a decent tune and the 91oct will be ok .
