is anyone out there using tokico hp shocks?? What are your opinions on them? Id be putting them with neuspeed race springs.

 

From what I've read, it seems like you shouldn't use them for a drop of more than 1.5", so I wouldn't really recommend them with Neuspeed race since they lower the car significantly. Koni Reds(what I have) & Yellows, KYB AGX, and Tokico Illumina's are very good struts to use.

 

i have some tokico hp blue shocks on my 94 ls .. i have like a 2.5 inch drop front and rear .. i kno you arent supposed to use that shock for a low drop like that but it was a long time ago when i didnt do my research and was broke .. but its not as bad as people say it is .. it rides like stock on straight and smooth roads obviously but when you hit a pot hole .. you'll feel it hit you hard but instead of it bouncing around like the oem .. it ll jus be one big bump .. hope that helps

 

works good for normal drive heights...dunno about the neuspeeds tho...never had exp with them...too low on HPs....and get ready for the ride of your life!!

 

i'm dropped 3' on blues...big bumps can be trouble but that's a given. to me..it's not bad at all
