Default RC injectors question

I have a set of 310cc injectors, that read 16.8ohms. The old stock injectors in the car were at 12.2 ohms, so they are both saturated injectors. Now my question is this, seeing as though it isn't the stock ecu, we are using a 2.0L spoon ECU, does it have the capability to learn? Or should they be any reason why the injectors wont fire the engine? We already have the clips and am totally lost on this one.

Your ECU is tuned for the stock 240cc injectors. Should run fine but probaly a little bit richer. You would want to tune these preferably.

What does tuning have to do with the ecu running these injectors, the basemap from the old engine should be able to fire them. I was thinking the problem was that it wasn't sending the proper 16.8ohms required to fire the injector. Anyone else with any ideas?
