purchasing autos online.....is it safe? Need suggestions...

I am thinking about purchase a honda online from someone out in cali. I was wondering if any has heard of any safe ways to go about doing this so that i don't get burnt out of my money.....thanks.

Pay a professional car inspector out in cali to look over the car for you and def make sure you get the VIN so you can run it on carfax.
